Nodes
Immutable has dedicated nodes that serve as access points for partners wanting to peer with the network. The Immutable zkEVM network supports two types of nodes for connecting to the zkEVM: Private Partners and Public Partners.
Private partners
These nodes are permissioned and require that Immutable allowlist you either via WireGuard or static IP.
Public partners
These nodes are permissionless and do not require Immutable to allowlist you. This is the easiest way to run a node in the network. The nodes are configured to not participate in txpool gossiping, meaning they will not broadcast transactions to other peers. Instead, these nodes are set up to forward all transactions directly to the Immutable RPC endpoint for processing. This is to done to manage gossiping load. All transactions will be proccessed as usual.
