2. Linking your ERC-20 token in Immutable Hub

Linking your ERC-20 token in Immutable Hub is essential to features like availability on our Commerce Widget and Immutable Play.

It also allows you to manage your token directly from Immutable Hub.

💡Who is this for?
Game developers who have already mapped their ERC-20 token to Immutable zkEVM.
💡Prerequisite Step
Before commencing this guide, ensure you have completed the guide Setting up your ERC-20 token on Immutable zkEVM.

Linking your token in Immutable Hub is a self service process. You can do it yourself by following the steps below.

If you haven't already mapped your token from its source chain, refer to the guide Setting up your ERC‑20 token on Immutable zkEVM for instructions.

If your token is not bridged from one of the supported chains, you will need to reach out to your Immutable partner to add your token to our system manually.

💡Not all chains are supported
Currently, the linking via the Immutable Hub only supports native Immutable zkEVM tokens, or tokens bridged from the following chains:

  1. Polygon PoS
  2. Binance Smart Chain
  3. Ethereum L1

The first step to verifying your token with Immutable is to link your token in the Immutable Hub by following the asset linking guide.

  1. Open Immutable Hub and navigate to your deployed ERC-20 contract.
  2. Click the “Verify with Immutable” button on the token’s details page.

2. Update your token image

Once your token is linked, you can update your token image by clicking the token details page in the Immutable Hub and clicking the pencil icon next to the image URL field.

3. Wait for confirmation

There is nothing else you need to do except wait for the verification transaction to be confirmed on-chain. If you have setup your token and linked it correctly your token will be added to the allowlist and become visible in Passport & Play balances.
